1881 Census: Thomas was farming 200 acres, employing 7 men and 2 boys. Feb 1860: Thomas was accepted as a member of Langham Baptist Church.
1861 Census: Thomas, 46, was living with his wife, 2 children and nephew, Charles P. Blyth, in Mile End. They had a servant and a nursemaid with them.
1867 Rate book for Langham: Thomas is listed as owing the following property: a cottage and garden near Moor occupied by Jacob Leech, valued at £3.10.0; a cottage and garden near Greyhound occupied by Hanry Barnel, valued at £3.0.0; 2 other cottages and their gardens.
1881 Census: Thomas was living with his wife and eldest son at White House Farm, Mile End, Essex. They had one general servant.
1891: At the time of his wifes death Thomas was living at White House Farm, Mile End.

He was married to Roseanna PAGE (daughter of Robert PAGE) on 26 Jul 1848 in Langham, Essex. Thomas was from Myland (Mile End), Roseanna was from Langham. Both were single and of full age. Both signed their names. Witnesses were Charles Page and Maria Hicks. Roseanna PAGE was born in 1815 in Boxted, Essex. She died on 14 Jun 1891 in Mile End, Essex. Rose Anna died aged 76. Her Letter of Administration was issued to her husband, Thomas Blyth, on 18 Aug 1891 in Ipswich, Suffolk. Her estate was valued at £123.12.10. She was buried in Langham Baptist Church, Essex. 20 Feb 1860: An entry in the minutes book of Langham Baptist Chapel reads: "Mrs Thomas Blyth of Myland, and her sister, Mrs Samuel Blomfield Blyth, had sometime before applied to join without being baptised and the Church agreed to receive them" ... the application was approved and the Deacons agreed to visit but before they could report on their interview the application was withdrawn. At a later date the application was renewed and they were admitted to the Chapel.
